Inti Creates’ new game Azure Striker Gunvolt is in many ways a re-imagining of the classic Mega Man, specifically the X and Zero series, franchise, but with a new story, universe, and original characters. This is no coincidence for several reasons. Inti Creates was the studio responsible for the Mega Man Zero series that appeared on the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS handheld systems. Also, they are currently working on Mighty No. 9, along with Keiji Inafune’s Comcept studio. Inafune, is the creator of Capcom’s Mega Man (or Rockman in Japan) franchise, as well as being the producer for...

Thankfully, as the video game market grows we get to see some of the stranger Japanese games, that in the past would have been regulated to a Japanese only release or PC adaptations, receive official translations and proper releases stateside. Anime, Review -

Ever wonder what would happen if the countries of the world were actually anime characters? If so then you have probably seen Hetalia. If not, you should give it a view. Such a case is the series xxxholic created by the manga group known as CLAMP. For those who may have avoided it due to...

Dragon Ball Z, Movie, Review -

It has been a long time coming, but finally the English dub, produced by Funimation, hit theaters in the United States on August 5, 6, & 7. I personally chose to wait until there was an English dub to see this movie, as it was released in Japan over a year ago, on March 30, 2013. I was pleasantly surprised to see that all of my local theaters, north of Houston, were sold out on the August 5th showings, but I was able to see the movie on the afternoon of the 6th. The experience was fantastic and I was...
